At the London Beauty Academy, our aim is to provide you with the best training,
covering all aspects of beauty.
In our courses, you will cover the essential topics of health, hygiene,
safety, contra indications, procedure and after care advice, which will be incorporated alongside your practical and theoretical
beauty subjects. Each course has been specifically designed to help
you with the most thorough and practical ways to apply your treatments.
Courses are run 3 days a week for 9 - 11 weeks, giving you the opportunity
to practice in between lessons. Evening courses are also available. This will enable you to gain experience,
and if you face any problems you will have the opportunity to address these at the next lesson, and this will also give you
the chance to cover your case studies before your final exam.
Unlike other training schools, as soon as you are enrolled and have paid
your deposit we will send you the relevant training manual, whereby you can read up on your theory before you arrive,
giving us more time to concentrate on the practical side of the course. The course room is set up as a beauty salon
and during your course it will be open to the public so you will be able to gain as much experience as possible in dealing
with clients.
Within each course you will be provided with a kit which will enable you
to start practicing from home, the day you start your course.
Throughout the year we are sent job offers from salons around London,
so when you are nearing the completion of your course we will be able to help you start looking for a job within the industry.
As we are a City & Guilds Centre, on completion of your course, you
will receive your internationally recoganised City & Guilds qualification, giving you the freedom and peace of mind to
know that you are able to work within the beauty industry, without having to pay for any more courses or exams afterwards,
and also knowing that you will be able to gain employment within the industry, with the required qualifications.
As we run a successful chain of salons, we can also offer you courses in
opening your own salon, with all the information that you need to know and understand before you start.
